Sociopath is soft-pedaling it. He’s a full-blown fucking PSYCHOPATH. Look up the symptoms. He checks EVERY BOX.

I wonder if Watson ever said that -

" Yo doc, I need a bump!"

" Damn Boo, we got you that 8-ball yesterday morning! "

" Yeah, maybe I need to slow down"

" No shit, Sherlock"

Like that.

He's definitely crazy as a shithouse rat. Plus, I think Edroso is right - he's on a rigorous regimen of his own personal cocktail consisting of cocaine, Adderall, powdered rhinoceros horn and probably the blood of virgins.

Speaking of Hamlet, the Canada kerfuffle reminded me of this, from Tom Stoppard.

Rosencrantz: I don't believe in it anyway.

Guildenstern: What?

Rosencrantz: England.

Guildenstern: Just a conspiracy of cartographers, then?

Tom Stoppard, Rosencrantz and Guildenstern Are Dead

If substack wasn't 20 year old technology ( with nazis! ) I would use the strikethrough function on" England"

And follow it up with "Canada"

Making the perfectly cromulent joke.

My point still stands, Trump is crazy and believes that Canada is a conspiracy of cartographers. ( There may be a strike through function on substack and I'm too old to figure it out. I admit this)

Another quote from the play -

"We cross our bridges when we come to them and burn them behind us, with nothing to show for our progress except a memory of the smell of smoke, and a presumption that once our eyes watered."

I would put that on my tombstone except we're " $1000 simple cremation"

types. Maybe I'll write it on the cardboard box.

And a final quote the play that just about sums everything up.

"There must have been a moment, at the beginning, where we could have said -- no. But somehow we missed it."

Tom Stoppard, Rosencrantz and Guildenstern Are Dead

That's everything I know! Thanks for all the fine writing.

“· Buying a Tesla (Trump doesn’t drive)”

TBF, he wasn’t buying it for himself, he was buying it for his granddaughter. So I don’t think this one counts.

I thought his granddaughter was driving a Cybertruck because of all the room in the back to put golf clubs?

As Prof. Higgins says when Eliza Doolittle accidentally swallows one of the marbles he's put in her mouth, "Oh, don't worry. I've plenty more."

Given Tesla’s lack of innovation in the last 5+ years and their notable quality control issues, not to mention the safety record (or lack thereof) of its so-called “self-driving technology” buying one for his granddaughter could still be a datapoint. Just not for the parenthetical reason. 😄

After listening to the most recent Ologies podcast episode on Long Covid I am beginning to suspect that Trumps very bad brush with Covid may have a lot to do with his increasing dementia

Good point. That, and I think both his parents suffered from some kind of dementia.
